Hi !

I have seen this happend on some spawns, without being able to explain it. Maybe the male just wasnt hungry :-)
But it definatly means that the eggs are hatched, so it should be youngsters in your tank :-)

Hello ! This sounds like the problem i had, but i dont think it is the waterchange that shocks them. I think it is just you getting aware of the disease because the fish gets a bit worked up by the waterchanges. If its is the same thing i experienced, i am convinced that the fish is sick and barely ...

Maybe i should give the produsers a call, to hear if they need a reseller. When my fish got sick, i contacted all the shops in Bergen looking for aqua furan or simular. None of the shops had even heard about it. Most shops had tetra general tonic, and some had nothing at all. So i would think there ...

I hope that i have managed to get the situation under control, but i am not quite sure yet. I got excellent help from McEve, she took a 100 km drive to the airport to send me medisin, so thanks again McEve. I have now medicated for 5 days with the eSHa 2000, and it looks like things are getting ...

No nothing has been changed around, or in the tank for a year or so.

Have given eSHa 2000 since yesterday, and just prey.

Thanks for your answers. All fish in the tank has been there for at least one year and there are only zebras. If they had any bacterial infection and/or parasites, shouldnt there be some kind of sign on the fish ?, and shouldnt altso the adults be affected ? These fish look perfectly healty even ...

Lost a lot of fry

I have lost about 20-30 fry the last days, and i cant find any reason :( :? It started when i found one young zebra about 3 cm dead. When i checked the tank i found several more dead , and several young that where in trouble. They all seemed to have lost their swimming capability, just ...

Very nice and well feed group My best guess is 1,2,3,5,7 are females. 4 is male. 6 is unsure. Add one more male and you have a dream group, and spawning should be like a walk in the park. With so many females already onboard i would considered dividing them into two groups. You are very lucky ...

I have 3 L-066 around 7 cm, when i bought them i altso saw the parents and another breeding couple. The breeder and seller is a very well known and trusted person in the catfish community here in norway, so mine are definatly L-066. Sounds like a good explanation McEve, but in my mind i was sure that it should work well. But now i know that its not that easy :(

When it comes to plants, i never use that in my catfish tanks. Because of little light in the tanks the few plants i have used got rotten and died.

Almost killed all my zebra fry today

I found out yesterday that it was time for them to get their own little tank. I filled the tank with water and gravel from the main tank only, put in a filter that has been running in the main tank for over 1 month. Altso used rocks, slate and wood from the main tank. All seemed just fine, checked ...
